Accommodation

For the workshop participants, tentative bulk booking is being organized by the Local Organizing Committee in Hotel Himalaya, Kupandole Height, Kathmandu, Nepal. The free local transport from Hotel Himalaya for the meeting venue will be made available at 8.30 am every day. Booking information will be provided by the hotel.

We have arranged a special rate (inclusive of breakfast, taxes and service charges) per night with Hotel Himalaya.

Rate for Single Room - US$ 74.58 (per person per night) US$60 + VAT + Service Charges
Rate for Shared Room - US$ 87.01 (for two persons per night) US$ 70 + VAT + Service Charges

Local Transport

Transport from the airport to the hotel will be provided by the Hotel Himalaya - kindly send your flight details to your coordinator corresponding with you with a copy to Ms. Sarita Joshi (sarjoshi@icimod.org) so that transport and logistical support can be arranged in advance. For your return journey, transport from hotel to the airport will be provided by Hotel Himalaya. You are requested to be ready in the hotel lobby 3 hours before your departure time. The cost of transportation from airport to Hotel Himalaya and back is US$ 9 which will be charged to your accommodation bills.
