17 Nov 2018 : Preethi Bhaskar and coauthors honored by IITM

A paper authored by three CCCR-IITM scientists, which highlighted the recent trends and tele-connections among South and East Asian summer monsoons in a warming environment, has won the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology's Thirtieth Annual Silver Jubilee Award for the best research paper published in peer reviewed journal for the year 2017. The paper, "Recent trends and tele-connections among South and East Asian summer monsoons in a warming environment" was published in the journal Climate Dynamics in April 2017.

Meteorology in Day to Day Life a lecture by Dr. Milind Mujumdar on WMO day, 21 March 2012 On the occassion of WMO day celebrations a lecture entitled "Role of Meteorology in Day to Day life" was delivered by Dr. Milind Mujumdar at Moze High School, Yerawada, Pune on 21 March 2012. The fundamentals of air-circulation were explored through simple experiments by the students. The Teaching staff of the school was involved in conducting the experiments and making the discussion interactive.
