17 Nov 2018 : Preethi Bhaskar and coauthors honored by IITM
A paper authored by three CCCR-IITM scientists, which highlighted the recent trends and tele-connections among South and East Asian summer monsoons in a warming environment, has won the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology's Thirtieth Annual Silver Jubilee Award for the best research paper published in peer reviewed journal for the year 2017. The paper, "Recent trends and tele-connections among South and East Asian summer monsoons in a warming environment" was published in the journal Climate Dynamics in April 2017.

The fundamentals of air-circulation were explored through simple experiments by the students. The Teaching staff of the school was involved in conducting the experiments and making the discussion interactive.
