The purpose of this application is to facilitate the download of observational data from the COSMOS and GHG sites.

A new cutting-edge COsmic-ray Soil Moisture Observation System (COSMOS) has been launched by Prof. V.K. Gaur, Distinguished Scientist, CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute, Bangalore & Chairman, Governing Council, IITM on 31 January 2017.

Systematic GHG monitoring started at Sinhagad (SNG) in 2009. SNG is located 200 km east of the Arabian Sea (73.75 E, 18.35 N, 1600 m asl) over the Western Ghats mountains (Fig.1). Routine air sampling at SNG, collected from a 10-meter meteorological tower at weekly intervals, has been operational since November 2009.

Tree-ring and Speleothem sampling location states are Kashmir – Tree ring, speleothem, Himachal Pradesh- Tree ring, speleothem, Uttarakhand - Tree ring, speleothem Sikkim- Tree ring etc.

This dataset contains stable isotope measurements (δ18O and δ2H) of rainwater collected from Port Blair, Mahabaleshwar, Tezpur, Kharagpur, and Bay of Bengal during Indian Summer Monsoon (ISM; July-September).
