This dataset contains stable isotope measurements (δ18O and δ2H) of rainwater collected from Port Blair, Mahabaleshwar, Tezpur, Kharagpur, and Bay of Bengal during Indian Summer Monsoon (ISM; July-September). When rainfall amount is more than 4 ml, rain samples are collected. The samples are collected every day around 8:30 AM, and rainfall data are recorded at the same time. Apart from daily collection, event-based sampling (twice or thrice/daily) is also carried out on a few occasions. The results of the isotopic analysis are reported using the standard delta (δ) notation.
